Adam Miller ranked second among all pitchers and Grady Sizemore placed 17th among hitters in John Sickels' forthcoming The Baseball Prospect Book 2005. The Indians' farm system placed seven prospects on Sickels' two lists, second only to the eight Athletics who received rankings.
Also ranked among Sickels' Top 50 Hitters were Tribe farmhands Michael Aubrey (22nd), Franklin Gutierrez (33rd), Brad Snyder (34th) and Ryan Garko (41st). Fernando Cabrera (46th) was the only Tribe pitcher besides Miller to crack the Top 50 Pitchers.

Where is Mark Fidrych on the list?
How could you live in Oakland and never come across the bridge to visit?
Do you still dabble in photography? I didn't really do any at all for years after we lived on Neil Avenue. Of course now it's possible to experiment without spending $20 at Cord Camera to see nothing but mistakes.

Does Russell know you are here?

Hey Adam!
I thought you were still on Neil Avenue or else I would definitely have come to visit. As for Russell, I lost track of him even before the last time I saw you on that street corner in Columbus. Is he in SF also?
Dabbling would be too serious a word to describe my attempts at photography lately but I do still try once in awhile to snap a few off. You really seem to have an eye for it though. It's good to see from your photos that Gerald and Signe are doing well, Mark is a long-haired hippie and Tenley is growing up so obviously happy.
Send me your e-mail address at mitchell.below@gmail.com. I'd love to get reacquainted.
Hey, Mitchell, write some stuff!
The Indians really need to get rid of Betancourt and Wickman.
Carmona came in against the Reds and shut them down. Why bring in Wickman, he is a big big disappointment; past his time.
Need a third baseman, also.

Darrell,
I agree that the Tribe should deal Wickman and start grooming the next closer, be it Carmona or Cabrera or Andrew Brown. I wouldn't expect him to bring much in trade, however, given his age and tightrope pitching style.
I still think Betancourt can be an effective and inexpensive option out of the pen, but he has struggled in some key moments. I'd hate to think that we have another Riske on our hands.
Boone will of course be gone next season. There aren't many contenders who could use him (Padres?), so don't expect to see Marte or Kevin Kouzmanoff at third until September.
